Tent camping with small dog in Tennessee, South or North Carolina?

We are planning on going on camping this weekend and looking for a place where we can drive, we can have our dog with us, and there are easy hiking trails( where dogs allowed) and maybe a lake??

I recommend Chilhowee campground near Benton, Tennessee.

There you’ll find bike trail and hiking trails which take you out to Benton Falls and the head of the Rock Creek Scenic Gorge along the top of Chilhowee Mountain.

There’s a lake which offers fishing and swimming, a waterfall, and a campground.

Would anyone in South Carolina like to join me for horse trail riding and camping?

I’m trying to find people who like to ride horses and maybe camp out.

I suggest you ask at whereever you buy your feed and at your veteranarian about any local horseriding clubs or groups. You’d probably be much safer doing that than soliciting people on the internet.
I recomend to people that they do not think of folks on the internet as being real - or safe to meet.
Tell yourself that they’re all a bunch of dangerous predatory freaks you wouldn’t want to give any personal information to, mutch less ever agree to meet.
This may be paranoid,
But it’s the only way to be sure you’re safe in this day and age.

Locals,
Folks that the Vet knows,
Folks they know at the feed store,
-they’re probably a lot safer to associate with.

I’m not tryin’ to bum you out,
I just was concerned at the nature of your question.

We are about ready to head on out of here and trying to figure out where we would like to venture out to next.
How about a small fish camp, maybe Florida or the Carolinas? The problem with Florida is expensive, especially in the Keys, they want 1,600.00 a month to park your own RV!! That’s crazy!!

I myself live in North Carolina and it’s a great place. Theres always something to do if you look around. I live in a small town north of Charlotte and I couldn’t imagine living anywhere else.

I am looking for a small town atmosphere, like Mayberry. Our family loves to fish and go camping. It would be nice to have some trout streams very near by.

check the South Carolina Tourism bureau. they’ll be able to give you the best areas to go to.

im trying to find my friend who it at mct in camp lejune and i want to get her recruitor assitence i need to get a fax number for her recruitor to send her orders? someone please help. i tried the internet i cant find it online.

MCT falls under the command of School of Infantry - East (SOI-East). If you are trying to get a fax number for orders to be sent to, I recommend calling the Student Personnel Chief and asking him/her where to have them faxed. His/her number is (910) 449-0434. If that doesn’t work, here is a list of numbers for SOI-East: http://www.lejeune.usmc.mil/soi/staff.shtml

Good luck
